Membrane Health locates today's state within a formal definition of health and the history of your own physiology. The measurement begins with authorized signals, carries them through defined relationships, and resolves them into a position that can be followed as it moves through time.
Layer 1 · The perspective
We approach health as the condition and capacity by which a living relational field preserves sufficient coherence to remain distinguishable while participating in the exchanges and changing conditions that constitute it.

Layer 2 · The mathematical object
Once the definition is chosen, it can be made exact: a formal state space with defined bounds, quantities, relations, and a region in which the claims of the model can be tested. Formalization makes the definition precise enough to interrogate, derive consequences from, and bring into contact with measurement.

Defined quantities
Coherence, stability, recovery, and capacity become defined quantities within the state space, and their relationships give the position its shape and context.
Layers 3 & 4 · formal structure and empirical encounter
The machine-checked corpus establishes what follows inside the formal system. Measurement and physiological testing examine how, where, and under what conditions those formal relationships correspond with living physiology. Evidence relates these forms of authority while preserving the scope of each.

Formal proof establishes specified properties of the mathematical system; physiological testing establishes how the resulting measurements behave in people. Each carries its own authority and scope, and their relationship gives each reading a defined scope, an inspectable basis, and a growing empirical history.
